We save Sciesopoli with “The places of the heart” of the FAI
On italian TV Rai 1 in fine program “Travels with My Aunt” of 08.06.2016, the discovery of Bergamo, has devoted a special service to Sciesopoli and in the collection of the Heart Places signatures to save the great edifice of colony which saved about 800 orphans survived the war and the Nazi death camps.
Susi and the troupe have visited Sciesopoli and interviewed Walter Mazzoleni, the son of the guardian of Sciesopoli, who spent three years of his childhood with the small Jewish refugees, from 1945 to 1948.

The transmission of Radio RAI 2 “Really Beautiful” of 06.08.2016 tells the ranking of the “Heart” of the FAI Places, with sites that are provisionally top rated, and can therefore hope in the restoration works.
Among the places of memory cited in a special way Sciesopoli in Selvino (Bergamo), as a place of memory to be preserved for its historical and emblematic value of salvation and of humanity after the tragedy of racism and Nazi genocide.
