During the exhibition in Bergamo exhibition on “Sciesopoli Jewish, 1945-1948”, a couple of elderly people (whom we thank for this gift) gave us a beautiful picture-postcard, sent from Sciesopoli in Israel by Avraham and Yenti Spiegel, in January of 1947.

Avraham e Yenti Spiegel, 1947
On the back there is a writing in Yiddish, we translated with the help of Miriam Bisk:
Long wait, I send this postcard of our children and the house, which makes me want to cry.”

How to comment on these poignant words?

So, as if to celebrate the 70th year of the birth of Sciesopoli Jewish by Israel back in Selvino this picture-postcard, in memory of the lives of so many boys and children who survived the Holocaust.
